Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Labware Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Labware LIMS configuration, customization and deployment. The candidate will support multiple LIMS instances globally, build deployment packages, and handle system administration tasks.

Required are strong LIMS development skills, familiarity with instrument interfaces and CDS systems like Open Lab or ATLAS, and solid Java/SQL knowledge. Pharma/Life Science background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting multiple LIMS instances globally.
• 2-4 years hands on experience in configuration, customization and deployment of Labware LIMS preferably in updated version.
• Able to build packages used for deployment.
• Excellent LIMS development and configuration skills.
• Experience with system administration and maintenance of Labware LIMS.
• Troubleshooting and debugging LIMS applications.
• Strong customer facing, analytical, communication and articulation skills.
• Hands on experience implementing Instrument interfaces, CDS systems like Open Lab or ATLAS or other third party applications.
• Hands on experience implementing interfaces with enterprise applications.
• Independently handled at least 1 full Labware LIMS implementation/upgrade project.
• Awareness of GxP, Computer System Validation and other regulatory requirements of a lab.
• Experience using a reporting tool to generate reports.
• Good knowledge of Java, J2EE, JBOSS Server.
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle or MS SQL).
• Experience in Level-1, Level-2 & Level-3 Support for LIMS Applications.
• Pharma/Life Science background is a must.

• Should be experienced with the system administration and maintenance activities of the Labware LIMS application.


• Experience in trouble shooting and debugging LIMS applications.


• Customer facing ability, analytical ability, communication and articulation skills.


• Hands on experience implementing Instrument interfaces, CDS systems like Open Lab, ATLAS or other third party application.


• Hands on experience implementing interfaces with enterprise applications


• Must have independently handled at least 1 full Labware LIMS implementation/upgrade project


• Should be aware of the GxPs. Computer System Validation processes and other regulatory requirements of a lab.


• Should have experience in using a reporting tool to make reports.


• Should have good knowledge on Java, J2E, Jboss Server.


• Should have good command on SQL Queries (able to write complex queries) either in Oracle or MS SQL.


• Experience in Level-1, Level-2 & Level-3 Support for LIMS Applications.

Pharma/Life Science Background is must .
