Job summary

Lightemotion in India seeks a Lighting Designer with a strong design sensibility and basic-to-intermediate technical understanding of architectural lighting. You will create lighting concepts, prepare layouts, and support projects from design to execution.

The role offers exposure to premium residential and commercial lighting projects and opportunities to work with architects and designers, with growth in a design-led practice.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Prior experience or internship in architectural lighting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop lighting concepts based on architectural and interior drawings
• Prepare lighting layouts and drawings using AutoCAD
• Perform lighting calculations and simulations using DIALux
• Assist in luminaire selection based on application, optics, and wattage
• Prepare luminaire schedules, BOQs, and basic specifications
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and internal teams
• Support sales and project teams with design inputs and revisions
• Assist during site execution, focusing, and final handover.
