Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Life Insurance Agent role based in Vadodara. The agent is responsible for identifying prospective clients, explaining LIC’s life insurance products, and recommending suitable plans based on individual needs and financial goals. Daily activities include meeting clients in person, conducting needs assessments, preparing proposals, and assisting with application and documentation processes. The role involves providing ongoing customer service, handling policy queries, premium reminders, and supporting clients through claims and policy servicing. The agent is also expected to achieve sales targets, participate in training sessions, and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of LIC products, regulations, and market trends.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage to effectively promote and manage life insurance products.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Insurance and Finance to advise clients on coverage, premiums, and long‑term financial planning.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build relationships, address concerns, and support clients throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Candidates should possess effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse clients and close sales responsibly.
• Candidates should possess basic computer literacy and the ability to work with digital tools for policy management and reporting.
• Prior experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is beneficial but not mandatory; local language proficiency and familiarity with Vadodara and surrounding areas are an advantage.
• Completion of required regulatory certifications and eligibility criteria as prescribed by LIC and the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) is expected.
