We are searching for a well-organized, qualified and committed candidate to join our excellent faculty as a Librarian for the Academic Year 2026-27. He/She will be in charge of the school library, its management and services. Should be able to use innovative techniques to inculcate the reading habit among students.

Skill Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Librarian with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a school library.
• Graduation or Post Graduation in Library or Information Science from a recognized university.
• An ardent reader with a flair for reading books of various genres.
• Thorough knowledge of the functioning of a library along with the use of technology in record keeping.
• Updated knowledge in selecting and indenting new materials to ensure a current and balanced collection representing diverse points of view.
• Ability to help students develop attitudes, habits, and skills that will enable them to become lifelong readers and learners.
• Teaches / models current, innovative methodology, provides group and individual instruction in information literacy skills, through the use of available resources.
• Actively promotes reading and library use through activities such as storytelling, booktalks, displays, publications, reading programs and special events.
• Possesses an innate interest to involve in continuous professional development to be abreast with the latest developments in the field.
• A team player who works in collaboration with the teachers in bringing out the best in the students where enhancing their literary skills is concerned.
• Undertakes special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
