Lenovo is seeking an experienced IT solution lead with the perspective to work in a globally diverse clientele. The solutions lead will drive ServiceNow architecture and projects through forming and engaging teams with common, well-defined project goals, using leadership qualities to enhance team performance, and influencing the behavior of project team members to collaborate in achieving project objectives.
- Experience in ServiceNow development and configuration
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM module and process
- 5+ years’ experience in a technical project/program management role managing cross-functional projects, end-to-end implementation, and deployment.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management & Operations. ITIL Service Delivery processes and ITIL v3 or ITIL4 certifications is a big advantage.
- Extensive experience in project/program management, resource management, scheduling, planning, deployment, support, and training.
- Experience in managing change requests and prioritization in a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent understanding of process management, improvement practices, change management process, operation services.
- Works closely with regional customer transition teams and sales solution architects to review customer deal pipeline and build an implementation roadmap for the region.
- Work closely with technical solution architect to certify the deal scope and budget.
- Experience managing multiple clients and a global client base with strong knowledge of Agile & SCRUM processes. Experience in leading teams located in multiple regions would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook.
- Prepares Project Plan and Work Breakdown Structure in partnership with functional owners.
- Requirements gathering and management, cost and material estimates, milestone schedule, risk & mitigation plan, and communication management plans.
- Coordinates the setup of overall project governance (e.g., project org charts; roles; responsibilities, RACI charts, communication/stakeholder management) required for each assigned project.
- Manages execution of project.
- Acts as primary contact for project. Clearly articulates design, installation, and operational concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
- Conducts recurring customer reviews addressing scope, schedules, issues, actions, risks, and stakeholders’ expectations.
- Prepares for and presents at appropriate project steering committee meetings.
- The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, IT, and support teams to drive the lifecycle of implementation.
- Ability to identify implementation risks early, work out the mitigation plan, and drive the change.
- Techno-functional experience in system integrations will be an added advantage.
