Lexlegis.ai in Mumbai is seeking a motivated Legal Tech Associate to join our AI-powered legal platform. You will bridge law and technology, participate in product development, and translate legal requirements into practical features.

With 2–3 years in law firms, in-house teams, or legal tech, you will work across teams to improve data operations, support customers, and contribute to product initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant work experience in a law firm, in-house legal team, or legal tech
• Undergraduate degree in Law (LL.B.) required
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and interest in AI-powered legal technology
• Comfort with digital platforms and software-enabled workflows
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Role Description

We’re looking for a tech-savvy legal professional who understands legal workflows, enjoys solving problems, and is comfortable working at the intersection of law and technology. You’ll work closely with different teams, take ownership of projects, help improve our AI-powered legal technology products, and ensure ideas and requirements translate into effective solutions.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who takes initiative, adapts quickly, and enjoys figuring things out. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to product development, improve legal data operations, enhance customer experience, and support the successful delivery of product initiatives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Working with Technology and other internal teams to translate requirements into product improvements, coordinate development, test features, and support their implementation
• Coordinating legal data operations to ensure the timely collection, maintenance, accuracy, and quality of legal information
• Supporting customers by coordinating the resolution of product-related issues and developing help guides, training materials, and feature walkthroughs
• Enabling the Sales team through product training, feature updates, client demonstrations, and coordination of client documentation and issues
• Identifying gaps, improving processes, and coordinating across teams to ensure projects progress smoothly and product capabilities meet customer needs

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a law firm, an in-house legal team, legal technology, or a similar role
• An undergraduate degree in Law (LL.B.) is the minimum qualification
• An understanding of legal workflows and an interest in legal technology and AI-powered solutions
• Strong technical aptitude and comfort working with digital platforms, software tools, and technology-driven workflows
• Strong communication, analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate with different teams, and take ownership of work independently
• A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have

• Experience working with legal technology products, AI-powered platforms, or software-driven legal workflows
• Exposure to product management, customer support, legal data operations, or cross-functional project coordination
• Familiarity with product documentation, feature testing, and user training
