Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Legal Manager - Contracts to lead drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements across the organisation and coordinate with external legal counsel.

You will collaborate with business, procurement, partnerships, logistics, finance, and leadership teams to structure contracts that balance risk and commercial interests while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate advisory or commercial contracts.
• LLB from a recognised university; law firm or in-house experience preferred at growth-stage companies.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including Supplier and distribution agreements, Logistics and transportation contracts, Vendor/service provider agreements, NDAs and data-sharing agreements, Partnership and collaboration agreements.
• Standardise contract templates across the organisation and build internal contract playbooks and negotiation guidelines.
• Work with business teams to structure commercial arrangements from a legal and risk perspective.
• Coordinate with external law firms for complex negotiations and regulatory matters; manage deliverables and timelines.
• Provide support on regulatory matters related to agri-input sector, logistics, and marketplace operations.

Job description

We are looking for a Legal Manager - Contracts who will lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements across the organisation and manage coordination with external legal counsel.

The role will work closely with business, procurement, partnerships, logistics, finance, and leadership teams to ensure contracts are structured efficiently while protecting Agrim’s legal and commercial interests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contract Drafting & Negotiation

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including Supplier and distribution agreements, Logistics and transportation contracts, Vendor/service provider agreements, NDAs and data-sharing agreements, Partnership and collaboration agreements
• Ensure contracts adequately address risk allocation, liability, indemnities, and compliance requirements.
• Support business teams during negotiation with counterparties.

2. Contract Lifecycle Management

• Standardise contract templates across the organisation.
• Build and maintain internal contract playbooks and negotiation guidelines.
• Track contract approvals, execution, and renewals.

3. Business Advisory

• Work closely with business teams to structure commercial arrangements from a legal and risk perspective.
• Identify potential legal risks in proposed partnerships or commercial arrangements and recommend mitigation strategies.

4. External Counsel Coordination

• Coordinate with external law firms for Complex contract negotiations, Regulatory advice and Dispute related matters
• Manage legal partner deliverables, timelines, and quality.

5. Regulatory & Compliance Support

• Provide support on regulatory matters related to the agri-input sector, logistics, and marketplace operations.
• Assist in responding to notices or regulatory queries where required.

Candidate Profile

Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate advisory/commercial contracts
• Law firm or in-house experience preferably at growth stage companies

Education

• LLB from a recognised university
