Job summary

All Warehouses in Chennai is seeking a Legal Manager (Land and Real Estate) to own due diligence, documentation, and regulatory compliance for land and leasing transactions. You will supervise external advocates and prepare sale deeds, lease deeds, and development agreements.

The ideal candidate holds an LLB and Tamil Nadu Bar enrolment with at least 8 years' experience, including 5 years in land/real estate.

Qualifications

• LLB degree and enrolment with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu.
• 8+ years of legal practice with at least 5 years in land and real estate law.
• Knowledge of Transfer of Property Act, Registration Act, Tamil Nadu land revenue law, and RERA.

Responsibilities

• Lead title investigation and due diligence on land and property transactions.
• Deal with Registration and revenue departments.
• Review and draft sale deeds, lease deeds, development agreements, and JV agreements.
• Advise on land-use conversion, approvals, and regulatory compliance with CMDA, DTCP, and local bodies.

• Advise management on legal risk across projects and transactions.

Job Summary:

The Legal Manager will own legal due diligence and documentation for land and leasing transactions. The role covers title investigation, approvals, regulatory compliance, and contract drafting, and supervises external advocates on matters requiring outside counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead title investigation and due diligence on land and property transactions.
• Deal with Registration and revenue departments
