Job summary

Velnik India Limited is seeking a dynamic Legal Executive to handle corporate affairs, factory compliance, litigation, and manufacturing disputes. This role is based in Indore and requires frequent, short-notice travel to our Raipur manufacturing setup. A male candidate is preferred due to travel requirements.

Candidates who can join immediately or within 15–20 days will be given top priority. Joiners must be ready for on-site duties and occasional late-hour travel to remote plant locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Integrated BA LL.B. from a recognized university.
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with factory compliance, corporate affairs, and manufacturing litigation.
• Experience in FMCG or heavy manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent dispute resolution, negotiation, and risk mitigation capabilities.
• Willing to travel to Raipur, Rajasthan on short notice.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Velnik India Limited is seeking a dynamic and resilient Legal Executive to handle corporate affairs, factory compliance, litigation, and manufacturing disputes. This role is based in Indore and requires frequent, short-notice travel to our Raipur (Rajasthan) manufacturing setup. Due to the nature of on-site industrial conflict resolution, factory inspections, and late-hour travel to remote plant locations, a male candidate is preferred for this position.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Litigation & Legal Dispute Handling:
  • Resolve manufacturing-related disputes, vendor conflicts, and local labor issues on the ground.
  • Prepare detailed case briefs, draft formal legal notices, and formulate written statements for courts and tribunals.
  • Coordinate with external advocates and represent the company in active litigation matters.
• Legal & Factory Compliance:
  • Oversee and ensure strict adherence to factory laws, labor regulations, environmental norms, and industrial guidelines.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits across manufacturing plants to mitigate operational risks.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities and government departments for licensing, renewals, and statutory approvals.
• Drafting & Corporate Affairs:
  • Drafting Skills: Review, draft, and vet commercial agreements, procurement deeds, leases, and indemnity bonds with high precision.
  • Manage corporate affairs and maintain comprehensive records of all legal actions, statutory filings, and board-level documentation.
• On-Site Plant Support & Travel:
  • Travel Requirement: Travel to the Raipur (Rajasthan) manufacturing facility whenever needed to manage local disputes, handle physical plant inspections, and resolve legal matters on the spot.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Integrated BA LL.B. from a recognized university.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience handling factory compliance, corporate affairs, and manufacturing litigation. Experience in the FMCG or heavy manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
• Core Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of industrial disputes, factory laws, labor laws, and corporate laws in India.
  • Advanced drafting skills with precise legal terminology for contracts and court applications.
  • Excellent dispute resolution, negotiation, and risk mitigation capabilities.
• Mobility: Highly flexible and willing to travel independently to Raipur, Rajasthan at short notice once a month(totally depends on need).
• Notice Period: Immediate joiners or those with a maximum notice period of 15 to 20 days only.
• Languages: Fluent command over written and spoken English and Hindi.
