Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close, including legal entity accounting, parent/child accounting and month-end reporting
• Perform month-end analytical reviews and prepare reports
• Investigate and resolve issues; respond to ad-hoc queries
• Assist intercompany reconciliation and GL reconciliation; ensure compliance with Entity Control Standards
• Participate in firmwide initiatives and process improvements
• Maintain strong controls in close partnership with internal functions and regulatory changes

As a Assets Management Legal Entity Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process, including legal entity accounting and control, parent/child accounting, and equity pick-up and month end reporting (local and regulatory reporting)
• Conduct month-end analytical reviews to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and prepare various reports.
• Investigate and resolve issues, responding to ad-hoc queries.
• Assist in intercompany reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation and monitor compliance with Legal Entity Control Standards.
• Participate in firmwide initiatives/projects and process improvement efforts.
• Maintain strong controls in close partnership with internal functions and in accordance with company policies and regulatory changes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Chartered Accountant with 4+ years’ experience or Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience with 6+years of experience
• Experience in accounting and control processes.
• Understanding of financial statement structures, US GAAP/IFRS or any local GAAP and Indian Regulatory reporting
• Experience with SAP, MS Office suite, and/or data and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Python).
• Inclusive leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across different groups and regions
• Comfortable with reporting cycles and strict deadlines
