Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co.'s Global Finance & Business Management India center in Bengaluru supports the Office of the CFO, offering roles in Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products services.

The role focuses on regulatory reporting, capital adequacy, P&L and balance sheet reporting for Legal Entity Controllers, with collaboration across Tax and regional controllers to resolve inconsistencies and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• CA, MBA, CFA, ACCA or CMA with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory reporting and compliance for key Asia Pacific regulators (RBI, HKMA, MAS, APRA, etc.).
• Complete fortnightly capital adequacy, CRR, and SLR reporting as required by RBI.
• Manage monthly capital adequacy, P&L, and balance sheet reporting for Legal Entity Controllers.
• Oversee quarterly capital adequacy submissions and survey-based reporting to local government statistical departments.
• Supervise FR/FFIEC reporting, expense and revenue allocations, local regulatory submissions, and FX hedging.
• Oversee daily and weekly monitoring of critical ratios, including capital adequacy, liquidity, FX, and large exposures.
• Prepare and submit weekly financial statements and liquidity reports for selected balance sheet items.
• Conduct quarterly P&L and balance sheet reporting, including onshore/offshore ratio-based analysis.
• Analyze legal entity and line of business results, including variance analysis, booking validation, and transfer pricing compliance.
• Partner with Financial Control, Tax, and other stakeholders on revenue allocation and transfer pricing updates, and work alongside regional controllers to resolve legal entity and line of business inconsistencies.
• Drive process transformation by leveraging advanced technology solutions and partnering with strategic technology development teams to achieve sustainable process improvements.
