Job summary

E3 Group is seeking a seasoned Legal Associate to manage civil recovery matters, commercial suits, and NI Act issues from its Okhla Phase II, New Delhi office.

The role demands robust drafting, litigation support, and broad knowledge of contract and commercial laws, with experience in property matters and compliance. You will work with multiple internal teams and external counsel to ensure legal risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
• 13 years of relevant legal experience.
• Litigation/corporate legal exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil recovery matters, commercial suits and NI Act matters.
• Assist in litigation and case management, including filing and follow-up.
• Draft plaints, written statements, rejoinders, applications and other legal pleadings.
• Provide legal assistance relating to the Indian Contract Act, CPC, NI Act and Commercial Courts/Commercial Act.
• Handle practical legal work relating to PF filings and statutory/legal documentation.
• Assist with property-related legal matters and property documentation.
• Review, draft and assist with contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Coordinate with advocates, courts, government authorities and internal departments.
• Maintain records of cases, notices, agreements and other legal documents.
• Support the organisation in day-to-day legal and compliance requirements.
