Job summary

Denodo seeks a hybrid technical expert and educator to lead our Learning Ecosystem within the Global Office, part of Customer Success. You will craft training, labs, and content to move customers from exploration to mastery, building a vibrant Denodo developer and user community.

You will maintain technical materials, design interactive labs, and deliver engaging technical content across formats to accelerate adoption of Denodo Platform.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years as a Data Engineer or similar role in analytics software.
• 2+ years experience with Denodo Platform on real projects.
• Ability to read/write code (SQL, Java) and understand cloud infra.
• Ability to translate engineer-speak into clear instructions.
• Creative, collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop self-paced training courses and certification paths for multiple personas.
• Build hands-on lab environments (containers/sandboxes) for self-learning.
• Create multimedia education: video tutorials, articles, webinars, and blogs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Denodo Platform features.
• Deliver compelling technical pitches and overviews of Denodo features and benefits.
• Coordinate updates with the release calendar to create new material.
• Keep learning resources current and expand Denodo resources for customers.

Job description

Denodo is looking for a hybrid technical expert and educator to lead our Learning Ecosystem, and willing to take Denodo's learning and adoption to the next level to join our Global Office team, as part of the Customer Success organization.

Your mission: to help people realize their full potential through accelerated adoption and productive use of Denodo solutions.

In this role you will successfully employ your skills to develop the journey a customer takes from "What is this?" to "I’m an expert." You will maintain technical materials, design interactive labs, and foster a thriving community of denodo developers, administrators, and end users.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Technical Content & Curriculum Development:
  • Design and build self-paced training courses and certification paths for different personas (Business Users, Architect, Developers and Administrators).
  • Build and manage hands-on lab environments (e.g., using containers or sandboxes) for self-learning.
  • Multimedia Education: create video tutorials, articles, webinars, and technical blog posts that simplify complex architectural concepts.
  • Obtain and maintain strong knowledge of the latest features of Denodo Platform.
  • Be able to deliver a superb technical pitch including an overview of Denodo Platform's key and advanced features and benefits, differentiation, and competitive positioning.
  • Follow up on the release calendar of updates and versions to identify opportunities to create new material.
  • Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of modern technologies.
  • Coordinate work on multiple initiatives to help improve Denodo resources and training available for Denodo customers.

Desired Skills & Experience

Required Skills

• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field (Bachelor or Masters), or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• 6+ years of demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role, preferably in the data management or analytics software industry.
• 2+ years experience with Denodo Platform working on real projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to read/write code (SQL, Java) and understand cloud infrastructure (SaaS, APIs, Databases). Experience with AI and Agentic ecosystems.
• Empathy-Driven Writing: Ability to translate "engineer-speak" into clear, actionable instructions.
• Creativity: We love to be surprised with innovative solutions.
• Be a team worker with a positive attitude.

Non-Mandatory Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems) or creating structured educational paths.
• Experience working with Data Lakes (Presto, Databricks), NoSQL servers (mongoDB), ETL/ELT/Data Warehouse architectures, packaged applications (e.g. SAP, Business Intelligence tools, ...), and Windows & Linux (and UNIX) operating systems.
• Experience contributing to Open Source projects.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.
