Job summary

Meet the Team

Join our Security Business Group to design and deliver the AI-driven features of Cisco Secure Access product. You’ll work across multiple stacks and domains to build integrations and features that power the next generation of Cisco’s security platform. We have a highly scalable cloud product spread across 100+ data centre’s where we run our cloud security applications that operate at massive scale.

Your impact

As a Leader Software Engineering, You Will

• Design and deliver both functional and non-functional product features using AI SDLC.
• Mentor and guide engineers, promoting best practices.
• Create a culture of execution excellence coupled with innovation AI first mindset.
• Partner with cross-functional core stakeholders within both engineering, product management and field teams to lead the technology direction and facilitate key technical decision points.
• Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud services that support global enterprise users.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent with 15+ years' experience in designing, analysing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience in building cloud delivered SaaS based security solutions.
• Experience with Go, Java, Python.
• Knowledge of AI tools, frameworks, or methodologies.
• Proven skills in managing a high growth business and scaling engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for building scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend systems.
• Experience with AWS/GCP and monitoring/observability tools, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong engineering delivery and execution track record using agile process.
• Sound technical depth - ability to go deep into technical architecture and design when needed to solve a complex problem.
