Job summary

Nuvama Private in Mumbai, India seeks an experienced Wealth Operations – Vice President to lead the Ultra HNI wealth operations team. The role emphasizes AIF and PMS product knowledge, operational leadership, and a client-first mindset to drive excellence.

The VP will manage a multi-person team, oversee end-to-end operations, and partner with Technology, Compliance and Banks to ensure seamless service and compliant processes. A strong focus on automation and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wealth Management operations or AMC operations with AIF/PMS products.
• Experience managing a team of 6-7 people.
• Strong knowledge of AIF/PMS operations, capital markets, SEBI regulations.
• Proven automation and process improvement experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 5+ member operations team for wealth operations performance.
• Oversee end-to-end operations: transactions, capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, redemptions, portfolio updates, client statements.
• Drive operational excellence via standardization, automation, digitization, and risk controls.
• Partner with Technology, Compliance, Banks, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless client service.
• Monitor service levels, audits, and regulatory reporting for quality execution.
• Handle escalations and implement continuous process improvements for client experience.
• Drive strategic initiatives for scalability and productivity.
• Foster collaboration, accountability and continuous learning across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for performance of 5+ operations team
• Lead end-to-end operations including transaction processing, capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, redemptions, portfolio updations, timely and accurate release of client statements.
• Drive operational excellence through process standardization, automation, digitization, and strong risk & control practices.
• Partner with Technology, Compliance, Banks, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless client service
• Monitor service levels, operational metrics, audits, and regulatory reporting to ensure high-quality execution.
• Manage business escalations and implement continuous process improvements to enhance the client experience
• Drive strategic initiatives focused on scalability, productivity
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across teams

Requirements

• Proven track record of experience in Wealth Management operations or AMC operations with strong experience in AIF, PMS products.
• Experience of managing team size of 6-7 member team
• Strong knowledge of AIF/PMS operations, capital markets, SEBI regulations
• Proven experience in driving automation, process improvement
