About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Lead Wealth Acquisition to drive the acquisition and onboarding of HNI/UHNI clients, investors, and high-value prospects. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the wealth management, private banking, family office, investment banking, financial services, or investment ecosystem.
The role will be responsible for identifying potential investors, building long-term relationships, understanding their investment requirements, and converting qualified prospects into active clients/investors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Wealth & Investor Acquisition
- Identify and acquire HNI/UHNI clients, investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Generate leads through personal networks, referrals, industry events, partnerships, and other channels.
- Drive the complete acquisition cycle from lead generation to onboarding and activation.
- Build a strong investor network across relevant markets and segments.
2. Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with HNI/UHNI clients and investors.
- Understand clients' financial objectives, investment preferences, risk appetite, and requirements.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and investment discussions.
- Maintain high levels of engagement and client satisfaction.
3. Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve wealth acquisition and revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential investor segments.
- Establish relationships with wealth managers, private banks, family offices, financial advisors, investment professionals, and other ecosystem partners.
- Participate in networking events, conferences, investor meets, and industry forums.
4. Sales & Conversion
- Manage the complete sales funnel and ensure consistent movement of prospects through the acquisition process.
- Deliver presentations and explain investment opportunities, products, and value propositions.
- Negotiate with prospective clients and drive successful conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, meetings, conversions, and revenue.
5. Strategic Relationship Building
- Develop strategic partnerships with wealth management firms, family offices, financial institutions, and other relevant organizations.
- Build a strong referral network for continuous investor acquisition.
- Explore new channels for acquiring high-value clients and investors.
6. Reporting & Performance Management
- Track weekly and monthly acquisition targets.
- Prepare pipeline and conversion reports for management.
- Monitor acquisition metrics including leads generated, meetings, conversions, AUM/revenue contribution, and client retention.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback on investor requirements and competitive trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
- 5 to 6 years of experience in wealth acquisition, wealth management, private banking, investment banking, financial services, investor relations, or similar roles.
- Proven experience in HNI/UHNI client acquisition and relationship management.
- Strong existing network among HNI/UHNI clients, investors, family offices, wealth managers, or financial professionals will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of investment products and financial markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong business development and sales orientation.
- Ability to independently manage the complete acquisition cycle.
- Strong networking and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Comfortable working with revenue and acquisition targets.
