Job summary

InMobi is seeking a Design Lead to shape the UI/UX for its SaaS platforms across web and mobile. You will drive a scalable design system, brand identity, and data-driven dashboards while collaborating with product managers and engineers in agile sprints.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and influencing the roadmap with user-centric thinking. You will mentor junior designers, oversee design reviews, and ensure accessibility and performance across devices.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SaaS design experience.
• Strong portfolio with dashboards and data-heavy interfaces.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator and Miro.
• Experience building and scaling design systems.
• Knowledge of SaaS UX patterns, responsive design, accessibility, performance.
• Familiarity with React, Angular, Flutter and collaborating with engineers.
• Experience with design analytics and usability testing.
• Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills.
• Nice to have Martech/AdTech experience, motion design, AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a scalable design system covering components, patterns, typography, color themes, and overall visual direction.
• Define and implement the product brand identity including fonts, logo, color palette and accessibility.
• Translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for dashboards, analytics, campaigns, billing, and SaaS modules.
• Deliver responsive, data-driven UI/UX experiences optimized for performance across devices.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers in agile sprints; handoff via Figma/Zeplin.
• Conduct design reviews, enforce quality standards, iterate from feedback and analytics.
• Use Lighthouse, Hotjar/FullStory, A/B tests and user research to improve design performance.
• Act as design lead; mentor juniors and influence product roadmap with user-first thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a scalable design system covering components, patterns, typography, color themes, and overall visual direction, ensuring consistency across web and mobile.
• Define and implement the product’s brand identity,including fonts, logo, color palette, iconography, and accessibility standards.
• Translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for dashboards, reporting/analytics pages, campaign workflows, billing, and other SaaS-specific modules.
• Deliver responsive, intuitive, and data-driven UI/UX experiences optimized for performance and usability across devices.
• Work closely with product managers and developers in agile sprints, ensuring fast-paced design delivery and smooth handoff via Figma/Zeplin or similar tools.
• Conduct design reviews, enforce quality standards, and iterate designs based on feedback, usability studies, and analytics.
• Leverage Lighthouse measurements, design analytics tools (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.), A/B testing, and user research to continuously improve design performance and experience.
• Act as design lead—mentoring junior designers, fostering a strong design culture, and influencing product roadmap with user-first design thinking.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of proven experience designing SaaS platforms (web and mobile), with a strong portfolio showcasing dashboards, data-heavy interfaces, and workflow-driven products.
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Miro.
• Strong experience creating and scaling design systems for complex digital products.
• Deep understanding of SaaS UX patterns, responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Flutter) and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with design analytics, usability testing, and modern UX KPIs.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with the ability to deliver at the pace of a high-velocity development team.
• Nice to have experience in Martech/AdTech platforms, motion design/micro-interactions, multi-language SaaS design, and AI-driven design workflows.
