Dow has an opportunity as a Lead TS&D Specialist – ICT (Infrastructure, Consumer and Transportation). This role is located in Navi Mumbai (IND). We are seeking a highly experienced professional for the Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics business in India. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in Polyolefin Elastomers, Wire & Cable Industries, and rubber compounding and Speciality Functional Polymers, with a proven track record of technical expertise and industry engagement. In this role you will focus on the (Infrastructure, Consumer and Transportation). You are required to have strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of Elastomers & Rubber Compounding, Speciality Functional Polymers and their applications and markets.
Develop and implement technical solutions for customers in the Polyolefin Elastomers and Wire & Cable segments and rubber compounding and Speciality Functional Polymers. Provide technical support for product development, troubleshooting, and application development. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and R&D teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Lead technical discussions, training sessions, and workshops for customers. Monitor industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and innovation. Strong technical acumen with hands‑on experience in product development and application support. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field. PhD is preferred. A Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Polyolefin Elastomers, Wire & Cable, and rubber compounding industries and Speciality Functional Polymers. Excellent knowledge of Global Petrochemical Industries and Rubber/Wire & Cable industry in India will be an added advantage.
