Role: Lead Technology Analyst - Security & Governance Lead
Description: As a Lead Technology Analyst - Security Lead for Airbus Aerostructures, oversee and optimize the governance, investigation, and harmonization of Access Control across core and platform systems. This role ensures robust security protocols, addresses over-privileged user risks, and re-builds role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks, contributing to the integrity, compliance, and protection of restricted and sensitive aerospace data within IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end alignment and optimization of identity and access governance, ensuring adherence to the principle of least privilege across core business platforms.
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP Security solutions across SAP ECC, Fiori, Charm, and integrated systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of security and access management analysts, fostering technical excellence and risk mitigation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain access control policies, procedures, and security standards in line with best practices, export controls, and regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, Airbus Security Concepts and Guidelines).
- Investigate current over-privileged user roles across core and platform systems, identify security gaps, and drive remediation plans.
- Harmonize access governance by rebuilding, standardizing, and deploying robust RBAC protocols across the enterprise landscape.
- Oversee user access provisioning, de-provisioning, and regular access certification processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and segregation of duties (SoD).
- Manage and execute targeted security audits, privilege assessments, and compliance checks, tracking metrics to report on the reduction of broad access risks.
- Drive continuous improvement of identity governance tools and processes, prioritizing automation for access management and audit trail tracking.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand access requirements and align security boundaries.
- Foster good communication and a collaborative culture across multiple regions.
Qualifications
- Graduate with 9+ years of experience in SAP ECC, Fiori and Charm authorizations including SAP Role design and Identity access management, access governance.
- Excellent knowledge of User & Role Management Practices for both On-Premise and Cloud-based Enterprise/Platform products.
- Deep experience in Identity Access and Governance, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Identity Lifecycle Management tools.
- In-depth knowledge of security role engineering, profile generation, authorization matrices, and automated provisioning workflows.
- Strong understanding of modern identity and access management and role hierarchy modeling.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional change.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-assessment abilities, especially when mapping business roles to technical system privileges.
- Ability to communicate complex technical security risks and compliance requirements effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Additional Expertise
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, S4Hana Cloud, SAP BTP and GRC/IAG.
- Experience in Audit.
