Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a senior leader to define and execute the long-term technology roadmap for battery cells and energy storage solutions in Gandhinagar, India. You will drive R&D initiatives, identify emerging battery technologies, and establish partnerships with research institutes and global providers to stay at the frontier of energy storage.

The role requires guiding cell chemistry choices, overseeing IP development, and steering technology transfer from lab to commercial-scale

• Establish technology partnerships with research institutes, universities, and global technology providers.
• Lead intellectual property development, patents, and technology differentiation initiatives.

• Oversee development of Cylindrical, Prismatic, and Pouch Cell technologies.

  • Guide cell chemistry selection, electrode design, electrolyte optimization, and performance enhancement.
  • Establish performance benchmarks for energy density, cycle life, safety, and cost.
  • Drive technology transfer from laboratory development to commercial-scale manufacturing.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• M.Tech/MS preferred.
• PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Energy Storage, or Battery Technology is highly desirable.
