A leading precision engineering company based in Surat, India, is seeking experienced professionals for a role in machine tool development. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering and have over 5 years of experience in CNC/VMC machining and machine tool dynamics. The position involves hands-on design and development of precision engineering projects with a focus on ultra-precision machining. Qualifications

• 5+ years in Building of machine tool (CNC/VMC) and machine tool dynamics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to micro-level precision.
• Knowledge of diamond turning / micro-machining and exposure to ultra-precision dynamics control is highly preferred.
• Experience in FEA including structural, modal, vibration, thermal and dynamic analysis (ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Hands on experience in 3D component modelling and assembly in CAD tool (SolidWorks).
• Design and build machine tool using servo control, hydrostatic bearings, precision spindles, vibration/thermal control.
• Conduct product prototyping, validation, testing, and performance benchmarking.
• Analyze and enhance machine tool dynamics, vibration control, damping, and thermal compensation strategies.
• Conduct product prototyping, validation, testing, and performance benchmarking.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, assembly, and R&D teams for process development and continuous improvement.
• Select materials, sensors, actuators, drives, and precision components suitable for nanoaccuracy applications.
• Document engineering activities, design changes, and validation results.
