Job summary

Signify in Bengaluru is seeking a Virtual Chatbot Team Lead to steer the development and continuous improvement of the enterprise Virtual Chatbot platform. You will manage end-to-end operations and guide a cross-functional squad with product, engineering, automation, and business teams.

You will own the roadmap, lead LLM integration and capability expansion, track KPIs, ensure security and compliance, mentor the chatbot squad, and translate business needs into technical deliverables for

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6–10+ years experience in AI, automation, or platform management.
• Experience with enterprise chatbot platforms preferred.

• Represent the Virtual Chatbot in demos, reviews, and leadership interactions.

• Drive backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and quality delivery.
• Maintain documentation, testing discipline, and release processes.
• Define conversation flows, intents, prompts, and fallback logic.
• Oversee knowledge base updates and quality control.
• Ensure consistent tone and compliance in all user interactions.
• Introduce AI driven automation and hyperautomation features.
• Integrate chatbot with APIs, workflows, and enterprise platforms.
• Deliver POCs to keep the platform modern and future ready.

Role Overview

The Virtual Chatbot Team Lead will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of the enterprise Virtual Chatbot platform. This role ensures the chatbot delivers high-quality, scalable, and secure conversational experiences for employees, customers, and internal stakeholders. The Lead will manage end-to-end operations, guide a cross-functional squad, and collaborate across product, engineering, automation, and business teams.

Your qualifications

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Conversational AI, LLMs, NLP/NLU frameworks.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or similar tools.
• Strong API, automation workflow, and architecture knowledge.
• Familiarity with analytics, data privacy, and security principles.

Leadership Skills

• Proven experience leading technical or cross-functional teams.
• Strong program management and problem solving skills.
• Ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Domain Knowledge

• Service management, IT operations, or digital transformation.
• Experience with automation squads or hyperautomation.
