Responsibilities
- Administrating Pods, Docker images, services, replication controller
- Scaling/Descaling Pods
- Administrating configuration changes in Kubernetes files
- Microservices deployment
- Provide support to L1 & L2 teams in creating RCAs, resolving issues, and completing daily assigned activities, including training
- Provide on-call support
- Good knowledge of shell scripting
- Conform to client compliances and expectations
- Troubleshoot issues during deployment
Qualifications
- 9-14 years’ experience with Kubernetes, preferably with a Linux Systems Administration or DevOps background
- Experience administering larger clusters
- Monitoring system events to ensure health, maximum availability, and service quality
- Managing container platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues and assisting development team
- Experience performing system & application patchingAnswering user queries and service requests
- Solid experience in K8s application troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes
- Knowledge in Python programming
- Knowledge of Ansible and Terraform (good to have)
- Primary skill set: AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) & EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service), plus good Linux knowledge
- Secondary skill set: DevOps, Harbor registry, Python, Terraform
