As a Software Engineer on the Containers team, you’ll build, run, and continuously improve our Kubernetes platform, the foundation for application delivery. You’ll work hands‑on with cluster operations, networking, ingress, storage, and core platform services, partnering closely with development, security, and operations teams to support day‑to‑day platform needs and drive automation through infrastructure as code and CI/CD. Using cloud-native and open-source tools, you’ll help keep the platform scalable, reliable, and secure while improving performance and developer experience so teams can ship faster and with confidence.
This is a highly hands‑on role where your work directly shapes developer experience and platform reliability, enabling teams across the company to ship faster, safer, and on a scale.
Own and evolve Kubernetes platforms (Rancher/RKE2 or AKS), defining standards for upgrades, scaling strategies, performance tuning, cost/capacity management, backups, and HA architecture.
To land this role you will need 5+ years in Platform, SRE, or DevOps roles with deep production Kubernetes experience.
