Job summary

Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Datacenter Networking expert with Cisco ACI experience to deploy, troubleshoot, and scale complex DC environments. You will lead automation, mentor juniors, and drive strategic improvements across ACI, NDO/NDI, VXLAN, and routing protocols.

Responsibilities include designing architectures, implementing zero-touch provisioning, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership and PoC validation are essential.

Qualifications

• Expert in Datacenter Networking with Cisco ACI
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting Cisco ACI environments without supervision
• Knowledge of VRF, MPLS, VXLAN, Cisco Nexus, and routing protocols (BGP/OSPF)
• Strong understanding of network monitoring using Splunk and Netflow
• Scripting knowledge with Python or Ansible for automation
• Ability to lead production issues and coordinate with senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Review network standards and propose new hardware standards for Datacenter networking
• Plan, design, and document ACI architecture and deploy automated templates (zero touch provisioning)
• Configure security zones and VRFs to control traffic on ACI
• Develop and deploy ACI, NDO, NDI, Multipod and VXLAN solutions
• Provide troubleshooting support for technical issues and escalate as needed
• Lead cross-functional teams for solution development and knowledge sharing
• Own root cause analysis and permanent resolutions for outages and incidents
• Mentor junior team members and conduct training sessions
• Lead outage calls and manage production issues with stakeholders
• Create and maintain Low Level Designs and configuration standards
• Perform hands-on validation tests of PoC setups and deployments
• Maintain best practices for IP networking (RIP/EIGRP/OSPF/BGP) and VLANs

Responsibilities

• Primary Skills – Expert in on Datacenter Network with product experience on Cisco ACI,
• Able to help with Deploy and Troubleshoot above technologies without any supervision .
• Experience in working on heterogeneous network with managing various technologies .
• Able to Train Junior members in the team
• Proficient on DC deployment with VRF , MPLS , VXLAN, Cisco Nexus and routing Protocol .
• Expert on BGP and OSPF Routing protocols
• Troubleshooting skills on Production issues using Various tools – Splunk , Netflow , Debugging of network logs
• Review Network standards and recommend new hardware standards on Datacenter networking
• Plan, design, and document ACI architecture and deploy automated templates (with zero touch provisioning) to all locations.
• Configure security zones & VRF’s to control the traffic on ACI.
• Developing, implementing, and deploying ACI, NDO, NDI, Multipod and VXLAN
• Providing support and troubleshooting technical issues
• Creating and following ACI implementation plans
• participate in other next-gen technical project delivery
• Work with cross functional team for solution development and training and knowledge sharing
• Acts a single point of Technical contact during Technical Escalation Management
• Practices to make devices & operations more efficient
• Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and network deployments using new products and feature.
• Overall responsibility of expert level for technical support (Incident, Problem, Critical Changes)
• Good to moderate knowledge on IP Networking CCNA /CCNP, Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and switching (VLAN, Trunking, Dot1x, various flavors of STP)
• Experience in planning and designing or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN/LAN networks.
• Take the lead in outage calls
• Own and drive root cause and permanent resolution
• Perform moderate network changes
• CCNA /CCNP, Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and switching (VLAN, Trunking, Dot1x, various flavors of STP)
• Experience in planning and designing or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN/LAN networks.
• Review network design and provide recommendation on Low Level Designs and configuration standards
• Scripting knowledge using Python or Ansible

Relevant experience: 10-15 years

Day to day work:

• Review the existing process and update it for being more autonomous.
• Propose new process and create new documentations.
• Define improvement plan: how to decrease number of alarm and escalations.
• Deal with Paris NRE TEAM to have approval or be autonomous on the resolution of the incident / alarms.
• Give an improvement plan for reducing number of tickets escalated to Paris team.
