Job summary

Golden Opportunities seeks a Lead - Sustainability to shape the company’s sustainability roadmap and align with global standards. You will drive strategic objectives, benchmark practices, and coordinate with stakeholders to strengthen the brand through reporting and transparent communication.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience in sustainability, with at least 3 years in maintenance engineering, safety and regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in sustainability roles with emphasis on governance and strategy.
• Strong knowledge of climate science, policies and international frameworks.
• Excellent communication and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive sustainability roadmap with global standards and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Develop organisational strategic objectives & initiatives.
• Develop benchmarks for sustainability practices, identify best practices, carry out feasibility assessment and ensure successful implementation.
• Develop strong communication with all relevant stakeholders for brand building through reporting and communication mechanisms.
• Strong knowledge of Climate Change Science, Policies, global treaties and market dynamics.
• Candidate must have strong Communication and Team Handling skills.
• 8–12 years’ experience with minimum 3 years’ experience Maintenance Engineering, safety & OH Audit, Compliance, SMS implementation, OH surveillance & regulatory coordination.
