Responsibilities

• Forecasts, controls, and reports project costs for projects.

• Coordinates with procurement, material managers and engineering leads for essential items.
• Provides project priorities to guarantee completion and supports forecasts and disbursements.
• Performs schedule analysis and contributes to risk assessment and process improvements.
• Under supervision, solves complex problems using industry best practices in project controls.

Lead Specialist , Project Controls Title: Lead Specialist , Project Controls Job Title Lead Specialist I Project Control Division KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

Responsibilities

Forecasts, controls, and reports project costs for projects. Develops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, monthly forecasts and reporting. Reviews project costs incurred by category, calculates future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract, wage rates and risk analysis. Participates in or leads change control process. Ensures the development and completion of job progress milestones through scheduling. Coordinates with procurement and material mangers as well as engineering work group leads pertaining to essential items of supply. Provides priorities for projects to guarantee completion. Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis. Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices in project controls. Uses experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members. Position also may require accounting, financial management and customer reporting responsibilities at the project level.
