Job summary

Adani Group seeks an experienced technology leader to own OT and digital architecture across PLC/SCADA/DCS, IoT, Digital Twin and Industrial AI. The role drives Industry 4.0 use cases, defines standards, and collaborates with project teams to roll out secure, scalable digital solutions.

You will coordinate with cyber, HSE, and site teams, ensure OT system availability, and champion change management across operations and partners.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of experience in digital technology, process control and optimization roles.
• Strong experience in Metals, Mining, Process Manufacturing industries.
• Good knowledge in PLC, SCADA, DCS, OT-IT integration, IoT and industrial data platforms.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, data analytics and visualization.
• Experience supporting large-scale digital or automation projects

Responsibilities

• Own OT and digital architecture across PLC, SCADA, DCS, IoT, Edge, Historians, AR/ VR, Computer Vision, MES, Digital Twin, Industrial AI, data and analytics platforms.
• Define and enforce technology standards, reference architectures, and lifecycle management practices.
• Act as the technology solutions expert for digital and automation initiatives.
• Translate business and operational requirements into robust digital solutions.
• Enable Industry 4.0 use cases (MES, Digital Twin, AR/ VR, Computer Vision, Industrial AI) such as predictive maintenance, process optimization, quality and energy optimization.
• Support pilots, POCs and roll-out in coordination with project and site teams.
• Ensure availability, reliability and performance of OT systems.
• Define and implement OT cybersecurity controls aligned with ISA/IEC 62443.
• Work closely with the Cyber security Team and assist in patching and upgrades, backups and disaster recovery exercises for OT environments.

• Safety-by-design for OT & digital systems
• Statutory and site compliance (PTW, commissioning, maintenance) - for project implementation, the candidate must provide clear guidance pertaining to safety requirements
• Contribute to Incident investigation and corrective actions as required.
• Use of digital technologies for safety and environmental monitoring
• Partner with Integral Project Managers to provide design, estimation and risk inputs.
• Review vendor proposals, solution design and ensure adherence to technology and security standards.
• Prepare technical updates and presentations for the Executive Leadership Team.
• Act as primary technical interface between stakeholders (mine/plant operations, Digital team, Group IT and technology partners).
• Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, OEMs and system integrators.
• Champion Change Management for flawless rollout of applications.

OT Systems & Cybersecurity

• Act as primary technical interface between various stakeholders (mine/plant operations teams, Digital team, Group IT and technology partners).
• Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, OEMs and system integrators.
• Champion Change Management, so that applications that are rolled out are implemented in a flawless manner.
