Adani Group in India seeks a Lead Solutions Expert – Technology to own OT, digital and IT solutions across metals & mining operations, ensuring secure, scalable deployments and alignment with business needs.

You will lead OT and automation architecture, digital transformation initiatives, and cybersecurity for OT, while coordinating with project teams, vendors and enterprise IT to enable Industry 4.0 outcomes.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience in digital technology, process control and optimization roles.
• Strong experience in Metals, Mining, Process Manufacturing industries.
• Good knowledge in PLC, SCADA, DCS, OT–IT integration, IoT and industrial data platforms.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, data analytics and visualization.
• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s in engineering; OT, cybersecurity (ISA/IEC 62443), digital/cloud platforms desirable.

Responsabilités

• Technology Leadership (OT & Digital) – Own OT and digital architecture across PLC, SCADA, DCS, IoT, Edge, Historians, AR/ VR, Computer Vision, MES, Digital Twin, Industrial AI, data and analytics platforms.
• Define and enforce technology standards, reference architectures, and lifecycle management practices.
• Act as the technology solutions expert for digital and automation initiatives.
• Digital Transformation & Use Case Enablement – Translate business and operational requirements into robust digital solutions.
• Enable Industry 4 and drive pilots, POCs and roll-outs with project/site teams.
• OT Systems & Cybersecurity – Ensure availability, reliability and performance of OT systems; implement OT cybersecurity controls per ISA/IEC 62443.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Team for patches, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery for OT environments.
• HSE leadership and safety-by-design for OT & digital systems; ensure statutory/site compliance.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management – interface with mine/plant ops, Digital team, Group IT and partners.
• Review vendor proposals, solution design and ensure adherence to technology and security standards.
• Prepare technical updates/presentations for Executive Leadership.

Purpose/Objective

• The Lead Solutions Expert – Technology is responsible for end-to-end ownership of digital and operational technology solutions at Adani Natural Resources.
• The role bridges plant-level OT systems, digital platforms, and enterprise IT to ensure secure, scalable, and business-aligned technology deployment in Metals & Mining vertical.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Technology Leadership (OT & Digital)- Own OT and digital architecture across PLC, SCADA, DCS, IoT, Edge, Historians, AR/ VR, Computer Vision, MES, Digital Twin, Industrial AI, data and analytics platforms.
• Define and enforce technology standards, reference architectures, and lifecycle management practices.
• Act as the technology solutions expert for digital and automation initiatives.
• Digital Transformation & Use Case Enablement- Translate business and operational requirements into robust digital solutions.
• Enable Industry 4.
• 0 use cases (MES, Digital Twin, AR/ VR, Computer Vision, Industrial AI) such as predictive maintenance, process optimization, quality and energy optimization.
• Support pilots, POCs and roll-out in coordination with project and site teams.
• OT Systems & Cybersecurity- Ensure availability, reliability and performance of OT systems.
• Define and implement OT cybersecurity controls aligned with ISA/IEC 62443.
• Work very closely with the Cyber security Team and assist in patching and upgrades, backups and disaster recovery exercises for OT environments.
• Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)- HSE leadership and visible commitment - Safety by design for OT & digital systems - Statutory and site compliance (PTW, commissioning, maintenance) – for project implementation, the candidate must provide clear guidance pertaining to safety requirements, to the Business Partner and their Team members.
• Contribute to Incident investigation and corrective actions as and when required.
• Use of digital technologies for safety and environmental monitoring Project & Delivery Collaboration- Partner with Integral Project Managers to provide design, estimation and risk inputs.
• Review vendor proposals, solution design and ensure adherence to technology and security standards.
• Prepare technical updates and presentations, as necessary and directed by the Executive Leadership Team.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management- Act as primary technical interface between various stakeholders (mine/plant operations teams, Digital team, Group IT and technology partners).
• Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, OEMs and system integrators.
• Champion Change Management, so that applications that are rolled out are implemented in a flawless manner.
