Job summary

Jobtailor in Pune, India seeks a senior architect to design and implement Oracle RMS/RMFCS and Stibo STEP integrations. You will define data models, build item taxonomy, and automate workflows while ensuring data quality across RMS, PIM, ERP, and e-commerce systems.

The role requires 10+ years in retail tech with deep PL/SQL, JavaScript, and AI-driven automation capabilities, operating in a cloud/SaaS environment. You will work in a fast-paced Agile setting using Jira/Git.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of core retail industry experience with a deep understanding of merchandise hierarchies, foundational inventory management, pricing systems, and supply chain operations.
8+ years of hands-on software development experience utilizing JavaScript, XML, XSD, JSON, Linux environments, and RESTful/SOAP Web Services.
8+ years of direct configuration and architecture experience within Stibo STEP PIM (workflows, portal development, endpoint integrations).
Deep technical exposure to Oracle RMS/RMFCS database schemas, including advanced capability writing/reviewing complex operational PL/SQL queries and performance-tuning Oracle databases.
Demonstrated experience in developing autonomous AI agents. Practical experience with prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
Proven capability to prioritize deliverables, architect reusable systems, and collaborate with Product Management teams in a fast-paced Agile environment (Jira/Git).
Familiarity with deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise applications in cloud and SaaS environments.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Oracle Retail Merchandising Cloud Services (ORMCS) alongside enterprise PIM platforms (like Stibo STEP).
Actively write code, configure, and architect Stibo STEP (Item, Location, Vendor Portal) alongside Oracle Retail Merchandising Systems (RMS/RMFCS).
Define enterprise-wide data models and product taxonomy. Engineer custom Stibo JavaScript business rules, state transitions, and approval workflows.
Establish a single source of truth by aggregating, standardizing, and synchronizing product data (attributes, hierarchies, taxonomy).
Configure automated business rules and change-management workflows to review, approve, and enrich item data before it hits customer touchpoints.
Map and build data integration pipelines between RMS, PIM, ERP, and e-commerce systems to enable omnichannel journeys.
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from vendor onboarding and purchase orders to pricing, inventory allocation, and fulfillment.
Use production-grade Agentic AI frameworks to automate complex retail tasks.
