Job summary

Blue Yonder in India is seeking an experienced architect/designer to build a ground-up cloud-enabled SaaS product in Merchandise Management for retail. The role leads a 45+ global team, coordinating with consultants and architects while mentoring junior staff.

You will work in an agile environment using React, Node, Oracle PL/SQL, and Azure, driving design, development, testing, and timely delivery across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and 8–10 years of experience in PLSQL development.
• Strong communication skills and leadership experience.
• Experience leading a team/project with Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to Kafka and Snowflake is a plus.
• Node.js and Unix batch scripting experience is desirable.

• Core responsibilities to include Architecting, designing and supporting (along with counterparts, distinguished consultants and architects) a ground up cloud enabled SaaS product in Merchandise Management in retail space.
• The team currently comprises of 45+ global associates across India (COE), US and Mexico and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent will need to have good communication and leadership qualities, also mentor junior and mid-level associates in our team.

Scope

• Core responsibilities to include Architecting, designing and supporting (along with counterparts, distinguished consultants and architects) a ground up cloud enabled SaaS product in Merchandise Management in retail space.
• The team currently comprises of 45+ global associates across India (COE), US and Mexico and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent will need to have good communication and leadership qualities, also mentor junior and mid-level associates in our team.

Technical Environment

• Software: React JS, Node JS, Oracle PL/SQL, Rest API. Java script, Unix, Cognos.
• Application Architecture: Scalable three tier web application.
• Cloud Architecture: Private cloud, MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
• Frameworks/Others: GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD, DevOps, JIRA, Service NOW Type ORM, Express.

What You’ll Do

• Works in an agile team to create highly useful, easily maintainable software components that deliver maximum value to the customer.
• Closely interacts and collaborates with other team members on design, implementation, testing, and code review of user stories and bug fixes.
• Analyze software related issues and propose solutions
• Participate in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Keeps up to date with technology and research latest trends in the industry.
• Build customer specific interfaces and enhancements.
• Analyze customer reported defects and provide the solution.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B. Tech/M. Tech Computer science or related specialization) and minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in PLSQL Development.
• Strong communications skill.
• Experience to lead the team/project
• Good to have exposure to Kafka, Snowflake
• Good to have Node JS experience.
• Good to have experience in Unix Batch scripting.
