Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Bengaluru is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to architect, design, code, and implement software features for the Digital Solution - Cloud Platform. You will prototype designs, collaborate with SMEs, and work on-site in Bengaluru with the R&D team.

The role requires 7+ years of Linux experience, proficiency in Python and Shell scripting, and hands-on DevOps and CI/CD using Git and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years proven experience in Linux and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems, networking fundamentals and scripting using Python and Shell.
• Hands on experience on DevOps, Continuous Integration, delivery and deployment, version control (e.g., git).
• Build and maintain container images (Docker, Podman).
• Good knowledge in DHCP, DNS, OpenVPN, Routing, Bridging, Firewall.
• Exposure in troubleshoot boot failures, kernel panic, filesystem corruption, and performance issues.
• Support CI/CD deployments through Azure DevOps.

Job Summary

The Lead software Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible to architect, design, code, debug and implement software features, enhancements, working collaboratively with the team. He or she will develop quick prototypes to demonstrate the design concepts and product ideas to the team and management. Furthermore, the candidate will work independently as well as with SMEs.

This position reports to the Software Engineering Manager of Digital Solution - Cloud Platform and is part of the Digital Solutions R&D group located in Bengaluru and will be an on-site role.
