Job summary

DAZN in Hyderabad seeks a Lead Software Development Engineer to own the design and delivery of large-scale full-stack applications. You will lead a team, set technical direction, and partner with Product, UX, QA, DevOps to ship scalable cloud-native services.

The role requires 10–12+ years of experience with React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, and modern front-end/back-end patterns. Strong leadership and mentoring are essential.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of professional software development experience with strong Full Stack expertise.
• Extensive experience building large-scale applications using React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong hands-on experience developing backend services using Node.js.
• Strong understanding of Micro Frontend Architecture and modern frontend design patterns.
• Experience building distributed systems and Microservices.
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services, including Serverless architectures.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and API design.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (preferred), Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud deployments.
• Solid understanding of application performance optimization, caching strategies, and frontend performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and package management.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, Grafana, Datadog, or similar platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership abilities.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading high-performing engineering teams.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Development Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills.
