Job summary

Tech Holding is seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to drive application modernization, legacy-stabilization, and secure integration initiatives. It combines expertise in C#/.NET, Angular, SQL Server with TypeScript, Node.js, gRPC/Protobuf, PostgreSQL, and Azure.

You will lead integration development, guide architecture decisions, code reviews, and ensure reliability and security across existing systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, and modern .NET.
• Experience building enterprise web apps with Angular and SQL Server.
• Experience extracting services from monolithic/legacy systems and designing maintainable APIs.
• Strong understanding of secure service communication, authentication, and authorization.
• Proficiency with TypeScript & Node.js and API design patterns.
• Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, modernization, and maintenance of enterprise apps using C#/.NET and Angular.
• Stabilize legacy codebases by reducing technical debt and improving reliability.
• Design service/API extraction strategies to decouple monoliths into reusable services.
• Build secure integrations between platforms and external systems, with proper auth and data protection.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data-access layers.

The Role:

We're seeking a hands-on Lead Software Engineer to drive application modernization, legacy-codebase stabilization, service/API extraction, and secure integration initiatives. The role combines deep expertise in C#/.NET, Angular, and SQL Server with modern integration engineering using TypeScript ; Node.js, gRPC/Protocol Buffers, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft Azure. You will lead integration development and guide architecture decisions, code reviews, and the reliability, security, and maintainability of existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, modernization, and maintenance of enterprise applications using C#/.NET and Angular.
• Stabilize legacy codebases by addressing technical debt, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Design and implement service/API extraction strategies to decouple legacy applications into well-defined, maintainable services.
• Design secure integrations between existing platforms and external systems, covering authentication, authorization, data protection, and error handling.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and application data-access layers.
• Lead integration development using TypeScript & Node.js and modern API architectures.
• Design and implement service-to-service communication using gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
• Build and maintain PostgreSQL-backed integrations.
• Build, deploy, and support integration components on Microsoft Azure.
• Define API contracts, integration patterns, error-handling approaches, observability, and security standards.
• Troubleshoot complex application, cross-service, and data consistency issues and drive root-cause analysis to resolution.
• Lead architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews; establish coding standards, testing practices, and reusable development patterns.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers and support delivery planning and estimation.
• Ability to lead design discussions, run architecture and code reviews, and mentor engineers.

Requirements (all mandatory)

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software development.

Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, and modern .NET.

• Experience building and maintaining enterprise web applications using Angular.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including stored procedures, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
• Proven experience stabilizing, refactoring, and improving existing enterprise applications.
• Experience extracting services from monolithic or legacy systems and designing maintainable APIs.
• Solid understanding of secure service communication, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Strong hands-on development experience with both TypeScript & Node.js.
• Expertise in API design: RESTful APIs, service contracts, integration patterns, and versioning.
• Practical experience designing or implementing gRPC services and Protobuf contracts.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, SQL, query optimization, and application integration.
• Experience deploying, integrating, and supporting application services on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong grasp of design patterns, clean code, testing, debugging, and version control (Git).
• Ability to lead design discussions, run architecture and code reviews, and mentor engineers.
