Job summary

GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd. is seeking experienced Backend Engineers to join the Payments team in Bengaluru. You will design, deliver, and maintain high-quality, scalable backend solutions in Golang, focusing on payment workflows and RESTful APIs.

You will mentor engineers, define technical standards, and collaborate across teams to drive architectural decisions and efficiency. This onsite role reports to Engineering Manager II in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on designing and building scalable systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking.
• Proficiency in Golang and backend programming.

As such, we are seeking experienced & passionate Engineers to join our team, As part of Grab's payment's team you will be responsible of designing, delivering and maintaining high quality and scalable solutions to meet the payments needs of Grab. You will be reporting to Engineering Manager II

The Essential Skills You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on designing and building scalable systems
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language Golang
• Extensive experience with backend systems, including databases, caching, NoSQL, and application servers
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated leadership in driving technical decisions and defining engineering standards
