Job summary

Evigway Technologies is seeking a Lead Engineer with 3-6 years of hands-on experience building and shipping production backend and AI systems in Hyderabad. The role focuses on designing backend services in Node.js with TypeScript, building AI data processing pipelines in Python, and integrating AI into existing systems.

You will design APIs, implement testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while staying current with AI advancements.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of AI R&D or development using Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain backend services in Node.js with TypeScript.

• Design, build and maintain backend services in Node.js with TypeScript

• Design and document REST APIs, including versioning, authentication and error handling
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests
• Work with relational databases: schema design, query optimisation, migrations
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions and release planning
• Debug and resolve issues in production environments
• Design and develop AI algorithms for natural language processing, including text classification, sentiment analysis, and entity recognition.
  
• Conduct research on neural networks and deep learning techniques to improve pattern recognition capabilities.
  
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
  
• Develop expertise in TensorFlow framework for building scalable machine learning models.
  
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and advancements in artificial intelligence.

Required skills

• 3-6 years of experience in AI research or development using Python programming language.
