Job summary

nucleo leads the charge in building scalable web and mobile experiences across platforms. We seek an experienced Software Engineer to guide our technical team, shape engineering culture, and drive product development with a focus on microservices and multi-cloud deployments.

You will mentor engineers, translate product requirements into technical specs, design scalable and secure applications, and advance DevOps practices to improve deployment reliability while contributing to the product

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a team lead role
• Strong expertise in MERN stack and web/mobile app development
• Experience with mobile apps (iOS/Android) using React Native, Swift, or Kotlin
• Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with various programming languages and ability to guide teams
• Experience with state management, API integration, and modern front-end practices
• Understanding of fintech domain is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision making
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Track record of delivering complex apps at scale
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)
