Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in India is seeking a Lead for Smart Systems & OI to drive manufacturing analytics, dashboards, and data platforms across manufacturing operations. You will lead cross-functional teams, own KPI development, and advance AI-enabled optimization.

The role focuses on real-time data, OEE, cycle times, and data governance, with collaboration across Manufacturing, IE, Planning, Automation, MES, IT, and SMAI teams. Opportunity to shape next-gen analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2-8 years of manufacturing, automation, MES, analytics, or smart manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing operations.
• Experience with Tableau, SQL, Python, C#, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
• Support Deployment of Artificial Intelligence system as per organizing goal.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain reporting dashboards and KPIs.
• Develop real-time operational KPIs, WIP monitoring, OEE and cycle time analytics.
• Translate manufacturing requirements into dashboards and reports.
• Identify opportunities for automation, AI, and data-driven optimization.
• Lead Tableau, MES, and data integration initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and dashboard UAT/ deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Intelligence & Analytics

• Own and maintain reporting dashboards.
• Develop real-time operational KPIs, WIP monitoring, output tracking, OEE, cycle time, and bottleneck analytics.
• Translate manufacturing requirements into actionable dashboards and reports.
• Identify opportunities for automation, AI, and data-driven optimization.

Dashboard & Data Systems Ownership

• Lead Tableau, MES, and data integration initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across operational reporting.
• Drive migration toward next-generation manufacturing data platforms.
• Manage dashboard UAT, deployment, adoption, and support.

Operational Excellence

• Analyze production, WIP, machine, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support daily factory reviews, Remote Operational Center operations, and management reporting.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics for manufacturing performance improvement.
• Drive Intelligent Factory and Zero-Touch Manufacturing initiatives.

Project Leadership

• Lead OI engineers and cross-functional project teams.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with Manufacturing, IE, Planning, Automation, MES, IT, and SMAI teams.
• Support ADC, AI, robotics, and smart manufacturing use cases.

Required Qualifications
