Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead/Senior Business Analyst - Data to act as a liaison between development and business stakeholders on SDLC projects, driving requirements elicitation, data mapping, and Agile delivery for client initiatives in Bengaluru.

You will document requirements, ensure end-to-end traceability, and run workshops with business users while guiding Agile ceremonies. Ideal candidates have 7–15 years in IT, strong SQL/ETL, and data modeling experience.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of IT experience, including business analysis and stakeholder management
• Expertise in data analysis, data modeling, data migration, and data mapping
• Proficiency in SQL and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience as a liaison on SDLC projects between development and business partners
• Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Rally ALM, TFS, ServiceNow) and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between development and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC
• Engage with client and business stakeholders for requirements elicitation and solution recommendations
• Document software system requirements and manage end-to-end traceability using Jira, Rally ALM, TFS, or ServiceNow
• Run workshops with business users and summarize action items
• Drive Agile ceremonies and write stories aligned to Sprint/PI goals
