The role demands 8+ years of enterprise software experience, strong Scala, functional programming, and deep knowledge of RESTful microservices, Akka, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of real-world experience developing enterprise software applications.
• At least 5+ years of solid experience with Scala.
• Good understanding of Functional Programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance REST APIs, distributed services, and databases supporting trade lifecycle platform.
• Design and architect the solution, approach and work with the team in delivering a clean and scalable solution.
• Interact with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into detailed design.
• Involved in new integration projects with prospective and existing clients.
• Review code developed by other team members.
• Collaborate with QA on design and implementation of manual and automated test processes.
• Follow Agile development processes, coding standards, and methodologies.

DivIni (www.divinisoft.com) is looking for a Lead Scala Backend Engineer to work on a project for our premium UK based client to build the Cloud Based trade lifecycle platform. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Software Engineer to join an established development team responsible for trade lifecycle and to contribute to the growth of the platform. This team also handles outbound trade flow to prime brokers, administrators and also forms a key part of the onboarding process for new clients. We would expect the developer to work on the applications that interface with central position keeping system. In the longer-term, the successful applicant will also be able to work on other applications that interface with central position keeping system around trade flow and external connectivity to a wide variety of execution platforms. We use Scrum and other Agile practices, and are looking for a Lead Scala Backend Engineer who is dynamic, motivated and a self-starter to join our team. Requirements

• 8+ years of real-world experience developing enterprise software applications
• At least 5+ years of solid experience with Scala
• Good understanding of Functional Programming
