Job description

Job Description Summary

The Grid System Integration (GSI) team delivers a wide range of high-voltage transmission projects, utilizing both AC and DC technologies. The HVDC Solutions Line (SL) —a key component of GSI responsible for engineering design — is seeking a RAM Project Engineer to join our global team of experts in high-voltage electrical equipment.

As a RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability) Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating, creating, verifying, and validating RAM records for HVDC systems and subsystems. You will manage risks and opportunities throughout the RAM phase of the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will play a key role in enforcing engineering discipline and quality processes— specifically during the Tender (ITO) and project close-out phases—developing and industrializing engineering solutions, promoting health and safety practices, and providing technical guidance and training to customers and colleagues in accordance with CIGRE, IEC, and IEEE protocols.
