Job summary

NationsBenefits India seeks an experienced Testing Lead to drive QA for AI-powered voice bot solutions in Hyderabad. The role focuses on functional validation, automation, and AI-driven testing, and leads a small team of two QA Engineers.

You will develop test plans from business documents, collaborate with Operations and Product teams, and build AI-based test bots to validate conversational flows, customer experience, and backend integrations. Prior experience in Agile is assumed.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Testing Lead to lead quality assurance initiatives for AI-powered voice bot solutions. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in software development, application support, and testing, with strong expertise in functional validation, automation, and AI-driven testing methodologies.

The Testing Lead will be responsible for generating detailed test cases based on Business Documents (BDs), collaborating closely with Operations and Product teams, and leading a team of 2 QA Engineers. This role will also focus on building AI-based test bots to automate testing of voice bots and validate business functionality, conversational flows, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Quality Assurance

• Analyze Business Documents (BDs), functional requirements, and business workflows to create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Define and execute end-to-end QA strategies for AI voice bot platforms.
• Functional testing
• Regression testing
• Integration testing
• User acceptance testing

• Validate voice bot intents, responses, escalation flows, APIs, and backend integrations.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Work closely with:

• Operations teams to understand business processes and customer interaction scenarios.
• Product teams to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Development teams to track and resolve defects.
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions, sprint planning, release reviews, and production support discussions.
• Lead and mentor a team of 2 QA Engineers.
• Assign testing activities, review test deliverables, and ensure adherence to QA standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, automation, and reporting practices.
• Design and develop AI-driven testing bots for automated validation of voice bot functionality.
• Build automated frameworks to test:
• Conversational flows
• Intent recognition
• Response accuracy
• Business logic validation
• Error handling and escalation scenarios
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort through innovative QA solutions.

Production Support & Quality Monitoring

• Support production deployments and post-release validations.
• Analyze production issues and coordinate with support and development teams for resolution.
• Monitor quality metrics, defect trends, and release readiness.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Development, Application Support, and Testing.
• Strong expertise in QA methodologies, test strategy creation, and defect management.
• Experience creating test cases from Business Documents (BDs) and functional requirements.
• Experience testing AI Voice Bots, Chatbots, IVR systems, or Conversational AI platforms.
• Strong experience with automation testing frameworks and AI-based testing approaches.
• Hands‑on experience with API testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
• Experience leading QA teams and managing testing deliverables.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Conversational AI platforms such as Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework, or similar.
• Knowledge of NLP, speech-to-text, and voice recognition testing.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or custom AI automation frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
