Job summary

Perficient is seeking a Lead Technical Consultant to join our team in Nagpur. You will participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, translating wireframes into functional requirements and designs, while collaborating with architects and developers.

You will leverage AI-enabled platforms, mentor squads, and drive automation efforts, ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery across client engagements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Playwright (Java), including JUnit or TestNG.
• Experience using LambdaTest for cloud-based cross-browser and mobile testing.
• API functional and contract testing (Swagger / Postman), including third-party APIs.
• Pixel-perfect UI validation against Figma designs.
• Mobile automation with Maestro.
• Hands-on AI-assisted test generation with review of AI scripts before commit.
• CI/CD integration with scheduled suites, parallel execution, and release validation.
• Experience automating test data via APIs, including test user creation.

As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will work with solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
• A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.
