Job summary

Impact Analytics in Bengaluru seeks a senior automation tester to own end-to-end automation. You will transform manual test cases into scalable automated suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and improve regression performance.

You will work with Playwright/Selenium/Cypress, JMeter/LoadRunner, Postman, and API testing to ensure robust validation across UI, backend, and integrations. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams, mentor peers, and continuously evolve the testing framework

Qualifications

• 8-11 years of hands-on automation testing experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter/LoadRunner.
• API testing experience with tools like Postman/Insomnia.
• Experience in a CI/CD environment is mandatory.
• Ability to automate test scenarios and integrate them into CI/CD.
• Experience automating complex web-based applications.
• Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.

The impact that you will be making

• Drive end-to-end automation strategy by transforming manual test cases into scalable, maintainable automated suites using the inbuilt framework.
• Ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, enabling faster releases with improved quality and reliability.
• Enhance the stability and efficiency of regression suites, reducing execution time and minimizing flaky tests.
• Continuously improve and evolve the automation framework, introducing reusable components and best practices for long-term scalability.
• Leverage strong SQL and data validation skills to ensure data accuracy and support faster root cause analysis.
• Bring in performance testing practices using tools like JMeter/LoadRunner to identify bottlenecks and improve system performance under load.
• Contribute to API and end-to-end testing coverage, ensuring robust validation across UI, backend, and integrations.
• Analyze, debug, and troubleshoot automation scripts to improve reliability and reduce maintenance overhead.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to shift quality left and embed testing early in the development lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a quality-driven culture and improving overall team capability.

What lands you in this role

• Minimum 8-11 years’ hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Experience of working in Python.
• Solid SQL skills - Should be able to write complex queries with ease.
• Experience of working on any testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.
• Experience of working on any Performance testing tools like JMeter, Load Runner etc.
• Good to have knowledge on API testing with tools like Postman, Insomnia etc.
• Experience of working in a well-designed CI/CD environment is mandatory.
• Experience in automating test scenarios and integrating them into the CI/CD environment.
• Experience in automating complex web based applications.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot scripts.
• Should possess a high ownership mindset.
• Should have strong aptitude, can think independently and possess problem solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and quickly adapt to new situations.
• BE/BTech in computer science or equivalent technical education
