Job summary

Impact Analytics seeks a Sr. QA Engineer specializing in automation testing and data/API validation. You will help shape test frameworks, design end-to-end tests, and ensure reliability across backend and data pipelines while collaborating with DevOps and product teams.

Ideal candidates have 4-7 years of automation testing experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with CI/CD tools. This on-site Bengaluru role offers growth in a fast-growing AI software company.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years hands-on automation testing experience.
• Contribute to automation framework design and enhancements.
• End-to-end testing across UI, API and data layers.
• Write complex SQL queries with joins and aggregations.
• Design and run API test suites for reliability and performance.
• Exposure to ETL/BI data testing and large data pipelines.
• Perform load/stress/scalability testing using JMeter and Postman.
• Hands-on with non-functional PSR testing: performance and reliability.
• Experience in CI/CD integration (Jenkins, AWX, Github, Bitbucket) and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Docker for scalable test environments.
• Experience with mobile app testing is a plus (Android/iOS).
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams; leverage AI tools.
• Strong learning agility and proactive problem solving.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

The impact that you will be making

• Sr. QA Engineer with strong expertise in automation, backend/data testing, and performance testing.
• This role requires not just UI testing but a data-focused QA approach with the ability to validate APIs and backend systems.

What lands you in this role

• Minimum 4-7 years hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Framework development/enhancements: Ability to contribute to automation framework design and enhancements.
• End-to-End Testing: Validate requirements, workflows, and business scenarios across layers.
• Proficient in writing complex queries, joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• API Testing: Design and execute test suites for API reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Good to have exposure or background on data-focused QA on ETL, BI testing, and data pipelines with large volumes of data (not just UI-centric testing).
• Performance Testing: Hands-on in load, stress, and scalability benchmarking using tools such JMeter, Postman, etc..
• Should have hands-on or proficiency with non-functional PSR Testing - Performance, Scalability & Reliability.
• Experience in CI/CD, integrating tests into pipelines (Jenkins, AWX, Github, Bitbucket), ansible scripts for automation / deployment activities
• Good to have knowledge containerization for scalable test environments like Docker
• Good to have knowledge on Mobile Apps Testing - Functional & Automation on both Android / iOS platforms.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, DevOps, and product teams.
• Leverage AI tools for efficiency & productivity
• Quickly learn and adapt to new tools/technologies.
• Solid communication skills - verbal and written
