About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Python Developer to support our engineering team with critical, time-sensitive development work. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the Python ecosystem and hands‑on experience building scalable, maintainable systems. This is a high‑impact, individual contributor role requiring both technical excellence and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable applications using Python.
• Collaborate internal teams to understand requirements, develop solutions, and deliver high-quality code.
• Utilize the Pydantic ecosystem—particularly Pydantic AI—to define and validate data models and ensure data integrity across applications.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior team members when required.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and recommend best practices for Python-based systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming, REST APIs, and data validation principles.
• Experience with modern development practices including CI/CD, testing frameworks, and version control (Git).

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML‑related Python libraries or frameworks.
