Job description

Join us as we build the future of digital banking, where your expertise shapes seamless customer experiences. You'll be part of a passionate, diverse team focused on creating value and driving innovation. At JPMorgan Chase, we empower you to grow your career, expand your skills, and make a real impact. We value curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence. Discover an environment where your ideas help redefine what's possible in banking.

As Lead Process Engineer within Process Engineering, you design end-to-end operational journeys across retail banking products and services with a focus on customer outcomes, scalability, and resiliency. You'll partner with Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, Controls, Compliance, and Legal to align requirements, manage trade-offs, and drive delivery in an agile environment. You shape how processes are designed rather than documenting existing ways of working, raising standards through influence, mentoring, and data-driven continuous improvement.

In your first year, you will:

  • Strengthen team capability through mentoring, coaching, and raising design standards
  • Improve the quality and consistency of process designs across the organization
  • Reduce downstream design defects through stronger discipline and first-time-right practices
  • Become a trusted partner to Product, Operations, and control functions
  • Contribute to a culture of ownership, critical thinking, and continuous improvement within Process Engineering

  • Lead process engineering workstreams by planning work, managing dependencies, and driving decisions to keep initiatives moving in an agile environment
  • Embed risk and controls into designs by identifying operational and regulatory risks early and ensuring appropriate preventive and detective controls are built into the process
  • Drive continuous improvement using data, root cause analysis, and feedback loops to simplify, standardize, automate where possible, and reduce rework
  • Mentor and support junior engineers through coaching, design reviews, and sharing best practices
