Job summary

9E Global in Mumbai seeks a senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead design and technical delivery across multiple projects. You will review ground data, design foundations and retaining structures, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires 12+ years' experience, Chartered/Professional status preferred, and travel to UAE for project purposes. Proficiency with geotechnical software and knowledge of Eurocodes/BS standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 12+ years relevant experience within engineering consultancy/design.
• Strong experience in foundations, deep basements, retaining structures and ground engineering.
• Excellent Proficiency with geotechnical softwares
• Good knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards and relevant international design standards.
• GCC/Middle East project experience is highly advantageous.
• Strong technical leadership, communication and team-management skills.
• Chartered/Professional Engineer status is preferred.
• Selected Candidate will be required to travel to UAE for project purposes.

Responsibilities

• Undertake/review complex geotechnical analysis and modelling.
• Review calculations, reports, specifications and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate closely with structural, civil and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior/senior engineers.
• Identify geotechnical risks and develop practical, buildable solutions.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews and technical workshops.
• Support proposals, bids and development of 9E Globals geotechnical capability.
