Role Overview

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the execution of high‑profile, complex interior design projects from start to finish. This role involves providing strategic leadership, driving project success, and ensuring alignment with client objectives, design standards, and company goals. The Lead Project Manager manages all aspects of the project, including budget, timeline, resources, and stakeholder communication, while mentoring and guiding a team of project managers and design professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of large‑scale interior design projects, setting strategic goals and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining strong, long‑term relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers, designers, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring all team members contribute effectively to project goals.
• Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and delivery within financial constraints.
• Proactively identify potential risks and challenges, providing solutions to ensure successful and timely completion of the project.
• Oversee the delivery of high‑quality design solutions, ensuring all work meets the company’s standards and client expectations, and resolving any issues related to design or construction.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high standards of service.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients, internal teams, contractors, and consultants, providing regular project updates and progress reports.
• Continuously evaluate and refine project management processes, seeking opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in the building construction industry as a project management professional.
• Diploma or degree in project management, construction management, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of the various trades and subcontractors involved in interior fit‑outs.
• Tech‑savvy with a proven track record of adopting digital tools and technology initiatives.
• Thrives in fast‑paced environments, consistently delivering high‑quality results while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Works well under pressure and can operate independently with minimal supervision.
