Capgemini Engineering is seeking an embedded systems engineer to develop BSP and Platform SW for custom HW based on embedded SoCs. You will validate software with HW test equipment, work on bootloaders, and perform board bring-up with access to schematics and manuals.

The role requires strong debugging skills, multi-core architecture knowledge, and a solid OS background (Linux/RTOS). Hybrid work options, continuous learning, and certifications are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong debugging skills on complex, multi-threaded systems using HW debugger (JTAG, J-Link, etc).
• Deep understanding of multi-core architectures, NUMA, and memory hierarchies.
• Ability to produce high-quality code with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, with emphasis on Linux or RTOS.

Responsabilités

• Develop BSP and Platform SW for custom HW based on embedded SoC.
• Validate SW with HW test equipment such as oscilloscope and logic analyser.
• Work with bootloader, power-on boot sequence, and SW debugging.
• Board bring-up and understanding of HW schematics and manuals.
• Upstream OS/kernel upgrades, driver porting and integration of component drivers.
• Develop or customize peripheral drivers (GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART, sensors, NAND).

Your Role

• Experience in developing BSP, Platform SW for custom HW based any embedded SoC
• Good knowledge on BareMetal driver development, validate the SW with HW test equipment's; Oscilloscope, Logic Analyser, etc.
• Strong knowledge on Bootloader (U-Boot or any other), Power on boot sequence, SW debugging.
• Hands-on with Board bring-up and understanding on HW board schematic, Datasheet or HW reference manual.
• Exposer to OS/Kernel upgradation, Upstreaming, driver porting, integrating component specific drivers.
• Strong hands-on experience with peripheral driver developments or customization; GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART, Sensors, NAND..
